Is my financial data safe?

Yes. Your data is end-to-end encrypted on your own device with your passkey before it ever syncs — only you hold the key, so not even we can read it. Bank connections are read-only, and we never sell your data.

Do you store my bank login?

No. Bank connections run through Plaid, the same provider used by major fintech apps. Your credentials go straight to your bank — we never see or store them, and access is read-only, so we can never move your money.

What do I get for free vs. the $49/year plan?

Free, with no card: explore the whole app, connect or import accounts, and see your full plan with a rough FIRE estimate. The $49/year founding plan unlocks your exact FIRE goal and date, your safe-to-spend-today number worked back from your real plan, and a live countdown to financial independence.

Is $49 a one-off or a subscription?

It's $49 per year (about $4/month), and it renews automatically. You can cancel anytime, and every plan is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Founding members keep the $49/year price for as long as their membership stays active.

Do I have to connect a bank?

No. You can link banks, cards and brokerages with read-only Plaid for automatic syncing, or import a CSV and enter figures manually. Bank linking is optional.

What if I'm just starting my FIRE journey?

It works from day one. Enter your income, spending and accounts and you'll see your trajectory, your months of freedom, and how each decision moves your FIRE date — whether you're years in or just beginning.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Cancel anytime from your profile and you keep access through the end of the period. Within the first 30 days, email us for a full refund, no questions asked. Contact us and we'll sort it out.

How is safe-to-spend computed?

Each month we take your recurring income, subtract your fixed bills, subtract what you've already spent, and pace what's left across the days remaining — that's today's number. Your FIRE goal itself is 25× your annual expenses (the 4% rule), your cash floor guards the forward projection, and a target date adds a monthly savings reserve before the daily number.

Why sign in with Google?

Identity only. Google sign-in just proves it's you — your financial data is end-to-end encrypted on your device with your passkey, so Google never sees it and neither do we.
